i love you
Piano, flute, accordion, voice, and fixed media - 2025
~ 14 minutes
i love you was the main artefact created for my masters thesis. Written for a small ensemble and fixed media (including Peter Ablinger's talking piano), it attempts to outline the uncanny realm between the digital and physical. Focused on the phrase i love you, the ensemble and fixed media contort each other in an attempt to stake their ownership in the phrase. Ultimately its a critique on the hollow emotional capacities of digital media.
Bluebird - étude
accordion, harp, and fixed media - 2025
~ 2 min
This short piece was written as an exploration of symbiotic relations between fixed media and live instruments. The fixed media - Charles Bukowski's own rendition of his poem bluebird - provides the structure while the duo provide further emotional context. The harp and duo provide not only emotional gravitas but also a sense of fragility explored within the poem but counter acted by the gruffness of Bukowski's voice

piano and fixed media - 2025
~ 2 min
A short piece written as my first exploration of themes of the uncanny which I would continue to explore further later on. The piece focuses on the uncanny display of spirituality from text to speech software in emotional weight of the subjects yet lacking emotional portrayal. The piano thus navigates this space and attempts to add emotional value to ideas of access to God and loss of those close to us.
A Town Where Only I am Missing
Electronic production - 2025
A short song written for Azura Barber's final bachelor's collection. The collection deals with isolation as an autistic child within their local community. The song was commissioned to portray a melancholy, light experimentation, and to integrate sound design from videos of Azura as a child.
To be a Drop
Film Score - 2025
I wrote a film score for a short film directed by Krister Ozols tackling toxic masculinity within friendships and the inability of men to confine in one another.
My score was written with such themes in mind for piano, flute and electronics
The film is still under post-production
The Art of Play
I took part in The Art of Play organised by Milena Kroft the Berlin Eurocup 2024. I produced and performed three tracks as the group of dancers improvised to the music. On the day we did the performance twice at Brandenburg Tor.
Azura Barber
Voice and flute with electronics - 2024
This was a piece composed and produced for Azura's collection exploring the stigmatisation of death through substance abuse. For the project I worked with Kat Elms, an opera singer based in Berlin. I had her sing a passage from Giussepi Verdi's opera MacBeth. Recording Elms perform the same passage in different rooms across the Funkhaus, I experimented with different reverberations and distances of the microphones. We performed the piece live in July 2024.
Opaque - EP
Self release of my debut E.P - 2024
I am Garden
Guitar and flute - 2022
A short piece create for Rivaldo Tobieng's fashion film. Selected for honourable mentions at Bundung international student film festival
For chamber orchestra - 2021
~ 12 minutes
Paroxysm is a music reflection of the human experience through physical pain and feeling. The piece explores these visceral emotions, which collapse and open up through spectral fields based on the French horn and field recordings. This collapsing and closing is pushed through by a stumbling tonality creating a restless harmonic bitonal language seeking comfort. The work gains a sense of breathing, but violently and desperately where a sharpness is felt in each breath.

Cadere
For ensemble - 2021
~ 5 minutes
Cadere was a focus on rhythms, taking note from the Bang on a Can composers of 1980s New York and my new interest in Jazz artists like Thelonious Monk. It was a push of how far I could get a way with chaotic control at the time.
